Notes: pen-and-paper catalysts for memories.
2003-04-14 - 3:21 a.m.

April13-14. Stayed up all night trying to make up for lost bits of weekend which should have been spent dong homework. Twitchy and Spasmy form too much caffeine, double the normal dose of coke. Still, although much was done, little was accomplished.

April9. Learning Katakana.

Revelation: lonliness is a combonation of jealousy and boredum. Except in my case, because I am infrequently bored.

April10. Looking for a god that haunts my waking dreams. small fat black idol of woman in teddy-bear position, without a face.(13th warrior?)

selective memory #475. used to wake up in the morning with gashes in the back of my neck, from my own fingernails...

selective memory #477. last year was a good one for alarms.

Virus. constant IRQ from keyboard that says "down arrow". not entirely destructive, very irritating, compromising the speed of the operator, and above all, simple.

April3. skipped one class, the other didn't happen at all. drunk on E+J with Meghan because Becky didn't like the taste of it, walked around, fire alarm, bonded with Hiro (roommate#3) by watching Battle Royale until 4amhe seems happy to have his Playstation (TM) back (recovered through the use of shady means by Jason on an unremembered date).

April2. Sam's birthday, 1/2 bottle of vodka, whole bottle shared with two RAs and the birthday girl. my half was shared with Becky and Meghan. stayed up until 3am talking with Becky about that substance they calls 'lifestuff'.

April4. writing to abspsyche teacher. not enough money to buy soap (still not really charging people to fix their computers in my spare time) so i (had) to resort to swiping it from the campus bookstore.

April1. free dental work and toothpaste from college dental student.

April5. woke up with a hangover, but I dont remember drinking at all last night. I blame it on the lack of cokeonly a 20-oz all day, and kept drinking water to keep from being dehydrated, but it just sorta slipped through my system without assimilatingtoo alkaline, we dont want no water here. Justin was talking to me, and I just went through the expressions of i-dontknow-what-youre-talking-about-but-Im-gonne-pretend-that-I-do-oh-yes-that-sounds-interesting-and-haha-yousillylittleman. The head guy in the cafeteria said something to me, and I realized it when I turned around and saw him there, speaking in an overly-loud tone but coming off as normal volume levelit was like Id left the music on too high in my head. Tired, with inability to spit, and meandering motivation.

Invention: Teslas Perpetual Motion Machine. a staircase of fans which have weights on the inside of the fan, and then are drawn out to the ends after the blades get spinning, which keeps the fans spinning until the power that they generate can be re-routed to spin the fan another few rotations. needs more math, less theory.

dont write in the dark. barely legible note

[Message For The Alien's Analysis Of Human Behaviour:] (Fermi Problem #917). Fact#1: sweet dreams don't come to the bitter, sour or salty. Fact#2: many people, when asked the question what kinda fruit are you? respond with some kind of salty fruit (Jason-experiment #57) Therefore: we must conclude that less people have sweet dreams, making logical space for the bitter and sour fruits (and quite possibly, the bland ones). Therefore: Very few people actually have sweet dreams. Fact#3: i know several people that have sweet dreams. Therefore: i know some sweet people, rare people, and i hope you all continue to have your sweet, rare dreams. *s*. [somehow, i attempted to apply this theory of sweetness to Pascal's triangle, because that's what humans are...very Pascalish.] night all.

Post Sanctum: April14. choas in neural networks. Is it possible, Archibald, that somewhere in the brain, there must be made a choice, or several choices, that are, for lack of a better science, completely random? firing neurons that have nothing to do with anything...and is this what we call creativity? too much chaos in the brain, and you look at the stars with a different telescope...talking to mitch tonight was good...always good to talk in profound terms.
