A Lesson From Hubert
2001-01-29 - 22:34:20

When Jesus was on the cross, he said, let he who has not sinned throw the first stone. This makes for a good speech, but there was one guy, in the middle-back row named Hubert. Hubert had never sinned. It wasnt that he was overly religious, but he had never really put himself in a situation where he wanted to sin. So when Jesus made the statement, Hubert thought it best to comply with what the man had said, thinking it to be his dying wish. But just as he drew back his arm, he realized that it was a trap: by throwing the stone, we would have sinned, thereby ruining his record of sinlessness. Hubert walked away with his stone, leaving the crowd to live a life of simplicity as a pebble-herder.

I dont like Banana Republics; too much potassium...Republican Bananas though, thats the ticket...very tasty, but you have to make sure that its not a Democratic Banana in disguise, because people like Starr will arrest you for playing with it.

Pebbles in the pond:

Bush: Guilty until proven president.

Everyone is busy looking for nothing, if not one original thought about something that matters to nobody, so they can say that they are someone.

You would have a Rip in your Winkle too, if your middle name was Van.

Death is the reward for those that survive life.
